Pursuant to an advisory letter dated 17 December 2015, officials of the Department of Labor and Industry – National Capital Region (DOLE – NCR) Monday conducted an informal awarding of Servicio Filipino, Inc. (SFI) as a Child Labor-Free Establishment (CLFE).
Said correspondence was issued by DOLE – NCR Regional Director Alex V. Avila in a congratulatory gesture for SFI’s fulfillment of the criteria for CLFEs. This certification came 3 months after SFI had been awarded the Tripartite Certification for Compliance with Labor Standards or TCCLS in September of 2015.
DOLE – NCR Senior Labor and Employment Officer Jackie Borja met the SFI delegates at the Department’s NCR premises for the awarding. Present during the informal conferring of the CLFE were SFI’s AVP for HRAD Imelda Liwag-Nacatab, HRAD – Employee Relations Supervisor II Gina Nicodemus, Corporate Trainer Shayma Cadapan, Bids and Contracts Officer Bessie Tacas, Logistics Associate Adelina Delobrino, Recruitment Specialist II Giovanie Dano and Recruitment Associate Joseph Adrian Concepcion.
A formal awarding ceremony will be held at a later date to make the proclamation official.
