We are Gold Certified! After 2 years of preparation, Servicio Filipino Inc. has been certified Gold by the Investors in People, an organization based in the United Kingdom that has set the international standard for people management.
Years of preparation, all being led and supported by the top leadership, culminated in the 2-day assessment of the company last April 11 and 12, 2016. The assessment team of the Investors in People, led by its Chairperson, Ms. Janet Webster, appraised whether the company exemplified the best practices in people management as seen in the Generation 5 of the IiP Framework. The assessors drew a random number of employees from the SFI Head Office, SFI Bataan, SFI Dau, SFI Laguna, and SFI Cebu to participate in interviews. Meetings and other activities, such as the Monday Briefing, were also observed, and the members of the top management were interviewed as well. At the end of the 2-day assessment, the assessment team convened to consolidate all the information they had acquired throughout the process. Afterwards, the assessment team of Investors in People and the management of Servicio Filipino Inc. had their feedback meeting, where Ms. Webster announced that SFI had been certified Gold by their standards, achieving the highest certification on the 5th Generation of the IiP framework on its first try.
Later that afternoon, the management gathered all SFI employees present at the Head Office and announced the news. All in attendance expressed their elation and thrill to have been part of this wonderful journey towards excellence. This momentous feat of Servicio Filipino Inc. would not have been successful if not for the help and support of everyone in the company, from the Board of Directors to the membersof the staff that make sure that SFI always strives for excellence. With God’s grace, SFI will continue to achieve more and reach new heights in its journey of bringing the Filipino Workforce worldwide. The Company is now working on the Gen 6 for the Platinum Certification.
