Isn’t it hard to pick the best way to get to work? You try one method on Monday, switch to another method on Tuesday, and so on. None of them seem to be helping you get to work on time and in your best condition. The worst part is, many times you need to take a combination of all the available options.
We’ve all gone through that before, and we still go through it often. Is there any way to make it even a bit easier? Well, there just might be! We’ve put together a concise analysis of the most common ways professionals get to work. Read on and find out the pros and cons of this week’s pick!
You picked: Your own Car
Speed: 5. There’s no one else you’re driving for, nobody to pick up or drop off (unless you have a prior agreement with someone.) You can travel as fast as you can.
Availability: 4. It’s your car; of course it will be available almost all the time. The only exceptions are when it’s out for repairs or it’s a coding day.
Comfort: 4. Since you are more likely to take good care of your car, it is a comfortable vehicle to ride in. The only slight discomfort is the stress of driving if you don’t have a driver.
Safety: 5. You can travel at your own pace, and be as cautious as you want. You have full discretion on whether to take certain risks on the road. Also, you’re not riding in a stranger’s vehicle.
Cost: -5. Owning a car is very costly. From gas, to maintenance, to repairs and other expenses, you’ll be spending a lot of money to make sure you can use your car frequently.
When is the best time to use your car?
Go in your car when you have one (of course), and you can afford to keep it and use it regularly. Everything else is literally a plus.
